After having followed the seafront of the Basque coast through Biarritz, Bidart, Guéthary, Saint Jean de Luz, Ciboure and Hendaye, you will drive on the magnificent GI3440, which overlooks the Silver Coast, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Europe. It will take you to Pasaia, a small authentic fishing port that offers beautiful beaches and walks.

Then you will drive to the Ossau Iraty valley, known for its hard cheese of the same name. This valley is home to the largest forest of beech and fir trees in Europe. Wild and preserved, it is crossed by numerous rivers and waterfalls.

On the Basque coast, the wind will go with you. Together you will aim at the Sun, until it falls into the ocean, and gives the sky and its clouds its orange color.

You'll come across fishing villages and beautiful sandy beaches. You'll surf or watch these tightrope walkers of the sea do it for you.

Behind you, trails that take you deep into the mountains, which you'll criss-cross further along the way.
